How fast can I see a first draft?
I usually send a working draft within a week after we align on pages and style, as long as I have the info I need.
What do I get?
Your domain and content are yours. No subscriptions; I keep things simple so it's easy to maintain.
What do the starter packages include?
Copywriting, technical SEO basics (meta, structure, fast load), and clear contact options. Ongoing ranking work (blogs, content, etc.) is not included.
Will my site rank on Google?
Every site gets solid technical and on-page basics so it's findable. Ranking well usually requires ongoing SEO—blogs, fresh content, repeated optimization—which I don't do as a one-off.

Frequently asked questions

What's included in the copywriting?

I write clear, local-focused content for your pages. This includes headlines, service descriptions, about sections, and contact information. I focus on what matters to Rhode Island customers.

Do you handle domain setup?

If you don't have a domain yet, I handle everything through Cloudflare for simplicity and reliability. If you already have a domain, we can discuss setup based on your specific hosting situation.

Can I update the site myself?

I handle updates unless we plan a custom self-edit setup. For most small businesses, having me manage updates keeps things simple and ensures everything stays working properly.

What about hosting and maintenance?

I use reliable hosting that keeps your site fast and secure. Basic maintenance is included. For ongoing content updates, I handle those unless we arrange a custom solution.

How do you handle SEO for local businesses?

I include basic SEO setup (titles, descriptions, sitemaps) for all sites. For Plus packages, I add local Rhode Island keywords and town-specific optimization to help you show up in local searches.

What if I need changes after launch?

Small tweaks and updates are included. For larger changes or new features, we can scope those separately. I keep things simple so your site stays current without ongoing costs.

What about adding a blog?

I can build a blog, but it has recurring cost. The software that runs the blog (so you or I can add posts) has to be hosted—that's a monthly cost whether you write the posts or I do. We'd discuss setup and ongoing hosting before starting.
